Ritucharya (ऋतुचर्या) Winter Food Guide (Mid-November to Mid-January)

RITUCHARYA

Ritucharya is an ancient Ayurvedic practice, rooted in the fusion of two words: "Ritu," which translates to "season" and "charya" which means "regimen" or "discipline." This concept encompasses a set of guidelines for lifestyle and diet in accordance with the shifting seasons, as advised by Ayurveda.

Ritucharya aims to help us adapt to the physical and mental effects of seasonal changes. It provides us with a means to enhance our physical strength and mental resilience, equipping us to face potential health challenges brought about by the changing seasons. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in maintaining the balance of the three doshas in our body, ensuring our well-being and vitality throughout the entire year.
